For additional information, call 800.722.2289 or visit Position Summary: This position is responsible for billing invoices, assists Senior Client Billing Specialist and provides back-up to Senior Billing Operations Specialist.Duties & Responsibilities: Responsible for billing for Institutional Clients and terminated investors

  • Process and complete Billing Hub Requests for new and existing accounts
  • Set-up new accounts for billing in Tamarac, includes adding to Billing Group, assigning fee schedule per Advisory Agreements and Value Council Approvals, service codes, billing inception/end dates and payment source
  • Performs initial calculations of invoices in Tamarac primarily on Institutional clients, terminated investors and other clients assigned by the Senior Client Billing Specialist. Verifies and finalizes the fee calculations for recording in Accounts Receivable
  • Maintain terminated investors withholdings spreadsheet
  • Prepares invoices for clients
  • Prepares client fee summary spreadsheets
  • Prepares cover letters and mails/emails to direct bill clients Performs other duties as assigned
    • Provides primary backup and assistance to Sr. Client Billing Specialist in all aspects of billing
    • Interacts with Operations and Client Service Teams
    • Provides primary backup to Sr. Billing Operations Specialist for daily deposit and fee submissions
    • Assists in research requests
    • Assist in pulling Audit itemsQualifications:
      • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
      • Strong computer skills – MS Word and Excel experience required
      • Three to five years' experience in accounts receivable, general accounting or financial operations related areas
      • Must have a professional demeanor with the utmost respect for confidential matters
      • Must be able to work independently and in a team environment
      • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong interpersonal skills
      • Must be detail oriented with excellent organizational skills
      • Must have ability to multi-task
      • Must have ability to work in a high stress, fast paced environment
      • Must have strong work ethic with a positive attitude
      • Must be able to exercise discretion and independent judgmentWorking Conditions:
        • No travel required
        • Long periods of sitting utilizing a computer
        • Long hours may be required to meet deadlines
