- Employee Stock Purchasing Program We're Looking For : We are
seeking a Staff Accountant who will report to the Senior Accounting
Analyst. You will c onduct research and complete projects for the
Accounting Department as well as other departments within the
company. You will m aintain general ledger balances and activity
within those accounts by performing periodic reconciliations,
inputting journal entries, and researching and resolving account
discrepancies. You will m onitor, control and protect the assets of
the company and provide accurate information concerning the
business operations to internal and external users. The ideal
candidate will have three (3) to seven (7) years of experience. You

Will :
- Reconcile General Ledger accounts
- Produce reports for management as required. Ad hoc projects are
common occurrences
- Assist with month-end close procedures
- Assist with internal and external audit functions as
required
- Assist with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements when needed
- Manage all queries that come in daily to the Accounting inbox.
This will require corresponding with field operations and problem
solving
- Keep lines of communication open with operations to assist
where necessary
- Practice and promote teamwork at all times. Set a good personal
example of attitude and performance
- Assist with the company's fixed asset reconciliation, with the
intention to own this process
- Perform bank deposits 2-3 days each week
- Perform balance sheet clean-up each quarter
- Assist with the Forgiven Write-off process
- Prepare information to record and file annual 1099's
- P erform other duties, as assigned Must Have's :
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related discipline is
required
- Three (3) to seven (7) years of accounting experience
- Familiarity with concepts, procedures and processes typically
used in accounting
- Good organizational, time management, and verbal communication
skills
- Strong facility with numbers
- Proficiency in telephone, keyboard, standard office equipment
Nice to Have 's :
- Ability and flexibility to perform varied tasks with
professional judgment, accuracy, and timeliness
- Previous auto i ndustry experience
