Job Description:

Essential Functions of the Role:

Finance Portfolio Management

Manage and continuously improve the Finance Solutions portfolio to promote clear communication, collaboration, and transparency across business functions.

Oversee intake processes, prioritization, delivery status tracking, and governance meetings to support informed decision-making.

Conduct regular assessments and performance evaluations of financial technology investments, implementing rebalancing strategies to optimize asset allocation.

Project Delivery

Lead and oversee Finance-related projects to ensure adherence to established project management standards and best practices.

Collaborate with Finance teams to negotiate vendor and supplier contracts, ensuring alignment with RFP requirements and budget constraints.

Establish a governance framework based on stakeholder analysis to ensure strong project sponsorship, effective prioritization, and timely decision-making.

Work with workstream leads to define and implement robust project delivery strategies, including requirements traceability, security, and other key project components.

Develop comprehensive project plans, identifying schedule dependencies, resource requirements, and critical paths to proactively manage risks.

Oversee testing activities and metrics to ensure clear expectations, accurate tracking, timely defect resolution, and quality outcomes.

Manage project budgets by generating SAP reports, reviewing and pre-approving invoices, ensuring accurate CapEx/OpEx tracking, providing monthly forecasts, analyzing spend requests, and reporting any budget deviations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in portfolio management

At least 5 years of experience with financial processes and controls

7+ years of hands-on experience managing medium to large-scale, enterprise-level Finance technology projects and programs

Proven experience in Finance delivery areas such as SAP, Account Reconciliation, Treasury, Tax, Accruals, and/or FP&A

Demonstrated success in planning and deploying GxP-compliant software solutions in the financial sector

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present findings and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proven track record of success in dynamic, fast-paced, agile environments

Highly organized, self-driven, and detail-oriented

Preferred certifications: PMP, Agile, and/or ITIL

Experience with core biotech or pharmaceutical software applications is a plus

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:

Pay Range*: $100/hr to $104/hr.


*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
