Job Description Job Description Civil Engineer (PE) — Project Manager Location: Indianapolis, IN (Hybrid/On-Site as needed) Company: Confidential—hiring through Solid Rock Recruiting Employment Type: Full-time About the Role Solid Rock Recruiting is partnering with a leading civil/site firm to hire an experienced Civil Engineer (PE) to step in as a Project Manager . You’ll own projects from concept to closeout, build trusted client relationships, and lead a high-performing technical team delivering site development and infrastructure work across the Indianapolis market. What You’ll Do Lead and deliver civil/site projects: site layout, grading, utilities, drainage, roadway improvements. Drive schedules, budgets, quality standards, and client satisfaction. Mentor and develop junior engineers, designers, and technicians. Prepare, review, and stamp plans, specs, and technical reports. Serve as the primary contact for clients, consultants, and permitting agencies. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and internal QA/QC. What You Bring Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred). Active Indiana PE license. 6 years of civil engineering experience with proven project management. Strong proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and related design tools. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and lead teams. Excellent communication, leadership, and client-facing skills.
