JOB TITLE:Manufacturing Design Engineer (Multiple Openings)



JOB LOCATION:1100 John Brown Road, Van Wert, OH 45891 (Van Wert County)



JOB DUTIES: Responsible for identifying areas for improvement in manufacturing designs, maintaining high levels of manufacturing and product quality, supporting assembly processes, and ensuring cost-efficiency according to internal process standards. Specific duties include: (1) applying knowledge of mechanical theory and principles, statutory codes, and equipment requirements to improve manufacturing process; (2) producing designs in accordance to OSHA standards related to safety and ergonomics; (3) analyzing mechanical drawings supplied by customers; (4) understanding industrial and GD&T tolerances related to product design and assembly requirements; (5) incorporating purchased products effectively and efficiently within mechanical designs; and (6) making necessary adjustments or modifications to engineering drawings to satisfy requirements of custom processing.



MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related engineering discipline; one year of engineering experience, including specific experience with project management; knowledge of 3D design in SolidWorks.
