Engineer, Engineering manages projects collaborating with internal
and external partners ensuring projects are on schedule and within
budget. This role will be heavily focused on managing projects
related to equipment, utilities, facilities, and ensuring the
appropriate tasks and documentation meet site compliance. This is a
fulltime role working days; Monday – Friday Relationships Reports
to Senior Manager. Essential Functions Acts as technical expert and
manage projects related to equipment, facilities, and utilities
used in the manufacturing processes. This includes, but not limited
to, machinery, utilities, facilities, automation, and HEPA
systems.Develops, manages, and implements change controls related
to project activities. Creates work orders as necessary for
specific related systems/blocks.Partners proactively with internal
and external partners and align with key internal customers to
develop and execute projects effectively, accurately and timely
that support business objectives.Engages with other group/function
managers and strategic partners to support business objectives,
streamline business processes impacting project planning/execution,
and implement business process changes.Communicates
cross-functionally (as well as to leadership) prior, during and
after project execution to assure clear/concise decisions and
direction are provided. Escalates issues/situations that may affect
the project timelines and budget.Dedicates significant time during
the project execution to assure all functions and contractors are
working accurately against the schedule. Adjust the schedule as
needed to keep the workflow intact efficiently and effectively.
Communicate changes appropriately to business stakeholders. Assures
all required safety requirements are met during Project
execution.Schedules, hosts and leads team meetings prior, during
and after (to assure closure).Other duties as assigned. Physical
Requirements Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reading of
written documents and use of computer monitor screen, reaching with
hands and arms, talking, writing, listening. Occasional stooping,
kneeling, crouching, bending, carrying, grasping. Frequent lifting
and/or moving up to 30 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving
up to 50 pounds. Must comply with EHS responsibilities for the
position. Working conditions will be heating ventilation and air
condition controlled. Working in a lab environment will require
working with skin irritants, lung irritants, electrical equipment,
sharp instruments, toxic materials, and hazardous waste. Safety
procedures will be followed to minimize exposure, including clean
room gowning. May be exposed to inclement weather or be required to
work in environments or under conditions that require the use of
protective gear and/or awareness of personal safety and safety of
others. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in
Chemical/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or appropriate
scientific discipline requiredMaster’s degree,
preferredOSHA/IOSH/NeBOSH Certification or equivalent, preferred5-8
years of relevant experience, required5 years Project Engineering
relevant experience, preferred2 years within the pharmaceutical or
biotechnology industry with a focus on sterile biologics
manufacturing, inspection and/or packaging preferred PE /
Registered Engineer in training, preferredHighly skilled and/or
certified in multiple tradesMust be able to read and understand
English-written job instructions and safety requirementsTechnical
