Join us and start doing your life's best work.(sm)The Director, Integrated Marketing, American Health Network, part of Optum OH/IN will play a critical role in executing Optum's growth strategy as a key partner to the leadership team in OH/IN as well as the national SVP of Optum marketing. The Integrated Marketing Director will manage a team of marketers to develop and implement high-impact programs that drive both revenue growth and profitability in the growing Mid-West region. This role is accountable for patient acquisition and retention, driving patient engagement to ultimately improve patient outcomes, supporting the growth of the physician and clinic network and developing relationships with key influencers including brokers and payers.The successful candidate works within a highly matrixed environment, partnering closely with marketing and business leadership to develop strategy and supports execution with internal stakeholder groups, including digital marketing operations, data and analytics teams, market insights, and legal and compliance to execute patient engagement and care management strategy. This is a hybrid role with onsite office visits -as needed. -Primary Responsibilities:

  • Working with the national SVP of Optum marketing and other national marketing team members, deploys integrated marketing plans aligned to the goals of the region
  • Oversees the development and implementation of omni-channel campaigns (direct mail, email, social, digital/web) to achieve program participation, value targets, and specific growth opportunities
  • Supports the Optum Health and local brand/AHN's brand, positioning and message development maintaining brand integrity and recognition across product lines, advertising, promotions, and external facing communications with B2C and B2B audiences
  • Champions the patient journey and lifecycle; uses insights and research to build acquisition, retention and engagement strategies and campaigns
  • Package, position and promote innovative capabilities that differentiate Optum's offerings to target buyers, key influencers, and patients
  • Collaborate with analytics partners to deliver insights and measurement for all marketing initiatives; deliver regular reports of campaign results, including response analysis and evaluation of KPIs
  • Brief and oversee the work of internal creative and external agencies; ensure accuracy of marketing materials and provide formal sign off if necessary
  • Ensure that our brand and identity is adhered to in campaigns and in all communication channels
  • Develops and manages the appropriate level of resource investment to meet campaign objectives, goals, and budget; accountable for driving to target outcomes within identified budget
  • Oversees and directs collaborative work of staff, including supervision, hiring and terminations; determine staffing needs and ensure efficient utilization of staffYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:
    • BA or BS degree, preferably in business or related field
    • Demonstrated progressive professional-level marketing/business experience within a matrix organization
    • Demonstrated understanding of applicable laws, regulations, contracts, and compliance requirements (e.g., HIPAA, Healthcare Reform/PPACA, state contracts, CMS)
    • Strong use of analytics/data with understanding of modern marketing approaches, emerging distribution channels and outreach
    • Complex Project Management level experience -
