Job Description:

The Merger & Acquisition Integration Manager will play an instrumental role in supporting the due diligence, integration planning and execution phases of strategic acquisitions, both in the U.S. and Canada. The Integration Manager will plan for an issue-free Day 1 experience and manage priorities across internal cross-functional teams. The Integration Manager will join a small, high-performing, fast-paced team to be part of defining and implementing best-in-class integration plans. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented, get-things-done, professional who adapts quickly, earns credibility and trust interfacing with founders/executives of target companies while coordinating with internal cross-functional leads on time/mission-critical operational issues spanning product, technology, legal, finance, HR, facilities and other interdependent teams. The M&A Integration Manager is a forward-thinking leader, responsible for driving the strategy, timing and orchestration of the M&A integration. The ideal candidate will become a subject matter expert on Allied offerings, technology integration and the customer journey, skillfully engaging and influencing partners, stakeholders and leadership, to ensure our customers are supported, and ensuring M&A Integrations are planned for and lead across the organization in a planful and repeatable way through the application of repeatable frameworks and best practices that drive increased business value.Job Duties and Responsibilities:Merger & Acquisition Integrations (40%):

  • Lead the strategic integration planning, due diligence and execution phases of M&A transactions that align to the business objectives
  • Identify and creatively solve complex, cross-functional operational issues, often unique to each deal
  • Mobile core teams: Coordinate and project/task manage diligence efforts and integration priorities internally and with the management/executive team of target companies
  • Establish and run day-to-day integration mechanics, planning and implementation processes consistent with the Corporate Development Playbook and the Diligence and Integration Management Office framework
  • Be involved in designing new organizational structures, modifying cultures, integrating systems, overhauling operations, consolidating products and services, etc.
  • Assist with the launch of functional integration teams so they understand their charters and are organized for success
  • Assist in the development of a communication plan for employees in both companies and all other stakeholdersProject Management (40%):
    • The integration manager takes project management to a new level of mastery
    • Provide clear assignments, common formats, disciplined timelines, coordinated meeting schedules, communication mechanisms, and review processes
    • Work closely with the ePMO to facilitate seamless and integrated processes to track and manage the overall actual integration execution, operating and capital expenses, as well as synergy target realization, against budget/model, and report any variances to the VP Corporate Development and/or SteerCo.Process Improvement (20%):
      • Evaluate and identify opportunities for improvement (performance, quality, training, cost savings, etc.) within Corporate Development and adjacent functions through process/workflow changes, vendor/partnerships, or innovative technology
      • Collaborate with our team to build and share knowledge, support the continuous development of our best practices, and bring relevant new ideas (i.e. digital tools)Qualifications (Education, Experience, Certifications & KSA):
        • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or economics required
        • 5-7 years of directly related work experience required
        • Project Management certification preferred
        • A confident communicator with good executive presence, able to clearly communicate to non-technical and technical audiences
        • Strong consultative approach to problem-solving ability, process-driven mindset, and ability to deliver with minimal direct supervision
        • Excellent project management skills
        • Strong cross-functional leadership skills
        • Bias for action in times of ambiguity
        • Proven highly organized and productive under high-pressure, time-sensitive scenarios
