• Our State-Of-The-Art heart care is provided utilizing a Universal Bed Model. - The universal bed model is an innovative care delivery system that allows patient care to be managed in one setting room post-operation to discharge.The Ascension St. Vincent Heart Center consists -of 80 beds. - There are 40 Critical Care beds and 40 Progressive beds. - -PATIENTS WE SERVE:
  • Open Heart Surgery
  • Advanced Heart Failure
  • Aortic Care
  • Electrophysiology
  • Pulmonary Hypertension
  • Thoracic Surgery
  • Valve Care
  • Vascular Care
  • CABG (Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting)HOURS:
    • 7:00PM - 7:30AM
    • 3 - 12 hour shifts
      • Every 3rd weekend
        • Rotating Holidays What You Will Do: Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.Responsibilities:
          • Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
          • Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
          • Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
          • Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team. What You Will Need: Licensure / Certification / Registration:
            • BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
            • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.Education:
              • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required. Additional Preferences: No additional preferences.
