Job Description:
Job Description : An Ultrasound Technician, or Sonographer, is
responsible for using ultrasound equipment to help visualize
internal anatomy functions. Their duties include calibrating and
manipulating ultrasound equipment to conduct appointments, taking
pictures or videos of potential abnormalities, and discreetly
notifying medical personnel if they identify something concerning.
Qualifications/Skills -Exceptional communication and patient care
skills -Aptitude toward the team philosophy -Ability to work
independently without direct supervision -Time management is a
critical skill -Provides correct patient identification, technique,
education, instruction, and transportation, as necessary -Serves as
preceptor for imaging procedures - BLS, ARDMS required - 2 years'
experience required - Outpatient Facility - Breast experience
preferred Employment Type: Full Time Salary: $60 - $65 Hourly
