Job Description Locums - Medical Genetics - Call Only -
Indianapolis, IN Why This Role? - Week-long inpatient genetics
coverage with flexible scheduling - Collaborative rounding model
with NP and genetic counselor - Opportunity to support a
high-volume academic health system Duration: ASAP - Ongoing
Coverage Type: Call Only Schedule: Friday 8:00 AM to Friday 8:00 AM
(1-2 weeks/month) Clinical Details: - Average 20-25 consults per
week - Includes rounding on metabolic patients and inpatient
consults - Charting in Cerner during afternoon hours - Call
response time: 15-20 minutes Requirements: - Board eligible or
board certified in Medical Genetics - BLS - Clean history - No
specific license required Skills Needed: - Inpatient genetic
consults and management - Experience with acute metabolic cases -
Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams - Competence in
Cerner EMR for documentation
