Registered Nurse (RN) | Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care Location: Carmel, IN Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,121 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 1/27/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: Must have an active state nursing license in hand prior to start date Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIH required; CCRN preferred Must-Have: - Previous charge experience - Experience with patient ratios of 1:2 Description: This position is for an ICU Registered Nurse. The shift is 3 shifts of 12 hours each. The nurse will be required to work weekends, every other weekend. The nurse will float within the scope to meet facility needs. Certifications required include ACLS, BCLS, and NIH. CCRN certification is preferred. The unit consists of 14 beds and treats general community medical-surgical patients, as well as patients in need of intensive care. The team provides care for a variety of conditions, including strokes, sepsis, and trauma. Nursing staff will work with interdisciplinary support, including physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services. Skills required include managing and administering central lines, IV medications, and care for ventilated patients. Candidates must possess skills in interpreting dysrhythmias and managing high-acuity patients. Flexibility to accommodate block scheduling may be discussed. Travelers must adhere to facility policies, including working major holidays and floating requirements. Two supervisor references are required upon submission. Local candidates will not be accepted for this position. Candidates must be able to fulfill all job requirements and duties as assigned.
