Interventional Radiology Location: Lafayette, IN Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,946 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/3/2026 About the Position Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: Current state license in Radiology Technologist required Certifications: ARRT(R), BLS required Must-Have: - Knowledge of sterile technique and supplies used during special exams - Ability to maneuver equipment and improvise positions when the condition of the patient does not permit routine positioning Description: The Interventional Radiology Technologist performs diagnostic and therapeutic radiographic procedures for radiological diagnosis in a timely manner. They demonstrate the appropriate knowledge and skills necessary to work with patients from pediatric through geriatric. The technologist follows physician's instructions, prepares and operates equipment, and positions patients correctly in order to record the requested diagnostic images. They treat patients with care and respect. The role may require the technologist to scrub into procedures as needed. The technologist may also be required to obtain advanced credentialing in interventional radiology, if applicable. This position demands proficiency in accessing and managing ports, accurate monitoring, and performing various procedures such as embolization and stent placement. Candidates should have experience with specialized equipment and procedures typical of the interventional radiology field. On-call requirements include ten shifts per month with weekend call included, rotating every third or fourth weekend. Working two out of three major holidays is mandatory. Travelers should be prepared to float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate facilities as needed. Requirements Required for Onboarding BLS Skills Checklist Specialty Exam
