Medical Assistant Location: Indianapolis, IN Agency: Pride Health Pay: $20 to $23 per hour Shift Information: 5 days x 8 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position Pride Health is hiring a Medical Assistant to support our client's medical facility based in Indianapolis, IN 46234. This is a 3-month assignment (Possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization! Job Details: Job Name: Medical Assistant Location: Indianapolis, IN 46234 Duration: 3-month Contract (Possibilities of extension) Payrate: $20-23/hr. On W2/Pay Rate is based on experience. Schedule: 7:40 am to 5 pm / Mon – Fri (5 days/wk.) Job Responsibilities: Room patients and prepare them for visits, including obtaining and documenting vital signs and patient history. Verify and reconcile medication lists at each visit. Administer injections and immunizations in accordance with clinical protocols and provider orders. Manage patient messages within the electronic health record, including medication refill requests. Communicate test results to patients as directed by providers. Forward patient questions and concerns to appropriate providers and follow up with patients regarding responses and care instructions. Qualifications: Highschool/GED or equivalent. Current, Medical Assistant Certification.
