Job Description Job Description Overview of Pain Medicine Physician Position Our organization is on the lookout for a board-certified Pain Medicine Physician to become part of our established and collaborative practice in Lafayette, IN. This opportunity arises as we prepare for the retirement of a current physician in 2026. The selected candidate will engage in diagnostic and interventional pain management procedures, including epidural steroid injections and radiofrequency ablations, with the assistance of nurse practitioners and a diverse referral network. Position Highlights: Work within a busy and well-established practice, benefiting from a collegial environment with direct support from three Nurse Practitioners and clinic staff in procedural and operating rooms. Enjoy a Monday to Friday schedule with shared on-call duties, described as minimal at 1:5. The retiring physician currently spends three days in the Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) performing fluoroscopic procedures and one day in the office for injections. Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) will oversee medication management and assist with procedure preparations. Engage in minimal chronic opioid management with established pain contracts. Receive referrals from our multi-specialty group, including Neurosurgery, Sports Medicine, and Primary Care. Perform procedures such as epidural steroid injections, medical branch blocks, radiofrequency ablations, sacroiliac joint injections, and hip injections and blocks. Scheduled blocks are available in the Surgery Center for procedures. Qualifications: Completion of a fellowship in Pain Management. Residency training in either Anesthesiology or Physiatry is required. Board eligibility or certification is mandatory. Must hold a medical license in Indiana or be eligible for licensure in the state. Previous experience is preferred. Compensation and Benefits: We provide a competitive compensation structure.
