Candidates must possess board certification in internal medicine and have experience in hospitalist practice and leadership, with a full-time schedule primarily during weekdays. We are looking for a seasoned Hospitalist Leader for our facility located in Fishers, IN, a suburb recognized for its excellence near Indianapolis. This position entails overseeing all clinical, scheduling, educational, and administrative functions. The Site Director will report directly to the Hospitalist Service Line Leader and will be accountable for the clinical, educational, and administrative functions of local hospitalist physicians and Advanced Practice Providers (NPs & PAs). This role includes participating in and overseeing performance improvement initiatives, LEAN management, and quality/safety programs at the hospital, as well as being an active member of various hospital committees. The Site Director will also provide direct patient care, mentor medical trainees, and promote or engage in research activities as applicable. Additionally, this individual will assist in recruiting and retaining adequate provider staffing and will collaborate with administrative support staff to manage provider scheduling. Attendance at relevant hospital and hospitalist program meetings is expected, and protected time for administrative and leadership duties will be scheduled and compensated.
