Registered Nurse (RN) | Telemetry Location: Dayton, OH Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,889 per week Shift Information: Nights - 4 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/16/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1.5 years of experience in advanced care/step down License: Any state RN license accepted, temporary license available Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Must pass an online EKG telemetry competency assessment prior to starting assignment - Experience with advanced care level drips - Experience in a mixed acuity unit Description: This unit cares for advanced care level patients. Experience with advanced care drips is required. Previous work in advanced care or step down is preferred. The unit operates under a mixed acuity model. The targeted patient ratios are 1:4 but can adjust to 1:5-6 based on needs. Unit may utilize a team nursing model, where RNs, LPNs, and PCTs work together for patient care. Staff may function in either team nursing or primary nursing depending on unit needs. Floating to all step-down/advanced care units is required. Patients include those with chest pain, syncope, vertigo, abdominal pain, CHF, COPD, and stroke rule outs. Candidates must have strong assessment skills and the ability to interpret dysrhythmias. Unit provides support from various interdisciplinary teams, including IV teams and respiratory services. Compliance requirements include lab work and completed exams prior to contract start. No block scheduling or local candidates will be accepted. Holiday requests will not be accepted. Nurses must float when required by management. Must be available to work every other weekend and holiday. Medical exemptions will not be accepted for this contract. Up to 24 hours of modules are billable, with expectations to complete during orientation and annually. Module hours are self-reported to management.
