Setting: Hospital-based operating rooms (ACS Level 1 Trauma Center) Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (8-hour days) Hours per Week: 40 Estimated Weekly Salary: $7,050 – $8,350 Operating Rooms: 14 Team: 22 anesthesiologists, collaborative OR staff including RNs, surgical techs, PCAs, surgeons, proceduralists, and APPs Average Surgical Cases per Day: 50–60 Call & Weekends: No call or weekend coverage required Pediatric Anesthesiologist Qualifications Board Certified in Pediatric Anesthesiology Active Ohio medical license (highly preferred for Ohio anesthesiologist jobs) BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (required) Self-Query NPDB within the month of presentation (required) Minimum 1 year of experience in pediatric anesthesiology or related healthcare jobs Ability to provide anesthesia services for neonatal, pediatric, and adult general surgical cases Experience with thoracic (except open heart), complex orthopedic, neurosurgical cases, and ventilation management Preferred skills: Arterial line insertion, evaluation and management of acute volume/BP issues Pediatric Anesthesiologist Responsibilities Deliver pediatric anesthesia services across all subspecialties (excluding cardiac and transplant surgery) Manage anesthesia for neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients in a busy hospital setting Supervise CRNAs in a care team model and practice independently as needed Collaborate with a multidisciplinary OR team to ensure safe, effective patient care Perform procedures including arterial line insertion and acute volume/BP management Maintain compliance with hospital policies and credentialing requirements Apply now to join our healthcare team in Dayton, Ohio and make a difference in pediatric anesthesiology!
