Job Description:
As an Ophthalmic Technician , you’ll be a vital part of the
patient care team—supporting optometrists and ophthalmologists
while helping patients feel comfortable, informed, and cared for
throughout their visit. This is a hands-on role with a mix of
patient interaction, clinical learning, and teamwork in a
fast-paced, supportive clinic environment. No prior ophthalmic
experience? No problem. We provide on-the-job training and a
company-paid certification pathway , making this a great

advancement opportunities What You’ll Do Prepare patients for eye
exams by explaining testing procedures in a clear, reassuring way
Perform preliminary diagnostic testing and additional tests as
requested by providers Assist optometrists and ophthalmologists
during patient exams and procedures Help manage patient flow and
scheduling, communicating delays when needed Prepare and maintain
exam rooms, including cleaning instruments and tracking supplies
Create a safe, clean, organized, and welcoming environment for
patients and staff Support the care team with additional
responsibilities as needed What We’re Looking For Strong
communication and customer-service skills Attention to detail and
ability to multitask Interest in healthcare and willingness to
learn Ability to work well in a team-based clinical environment
Prior ophthalmic or medical experience is helpful—but not required!
Physical Requirements (ADA) Ability to stand for extended periods
Frequent talking, hearing, grasping, and stooping Light lifting (up
to 15 lbs. regularly) Visual acuity to ensure accuracy and quality
of work
