Job Description:
Ascension is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered
Nurse for our Mother Baby Unit to deliver exceptional
patient-centered care. As an RN, you will collaborate with a
multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care to mothers and
their newborns, fostering a nurturing and supportive environment.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to monitor the health
of mothers and infants, manage medical documentation, administer
prescribed medications and treatments, and educate new mothers on
postnatal and self-care practices. Ascension values professional

comprehensive care to mothers and newborns in the Mother Baby Unit.
Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and other healthcare
professionals. Educate mothers about postnatal care and self-care
practices. Monitor and assess the health conditions of mothers and
their babies. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Document patient care and develop individualized care plans.
