What You Will Do:

Manage the development and implementation of police policies, procedures, and strategies for assigned region.


  • Coordinate investigations and participates in mutual aid as necessary with local, state and federal agencies.
  • Ensure compliance of proper storage, maintenance and tracking of weapon systems and related safety measures.
  • Develop relationships with ministry level leadership to meet the security needs identified within the region.
  • Conduct hiring, training, directing, development and evaluation of staff.
What You Will Need:

Licensure / Certification / Registration:


  • Indiana Drivers License (meeting Indiana Public Safety Residency Requirements) with no more than 8
    active points and obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. (AND)
  • One or more of the following required:
    • Certification specializing in Peace Officer obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
    • Law Enforcement obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.


  • High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Bachelor's degree required.
  • Bachelor's degree in law enforcement preferred.
  • Completion of FBI National Academy training program or equivalent preferred.

Work Experience:

  • 3 years of law enforcement experience required.
  • 2 years of leadership in law enforcement experience preferred.
  • Shall be at least 21 years of age in order to attend the required law enforcement training academy
    courses required.
