What You Will Do:
Manage the development and implementation
of police policies, procedures, and strategies for assigned
What You Will Need:
- Coordinate investigations and participates in mutual aid as
necessary with local, state and federal agencies.
- Ensure compliance of proper storage, maintenance and tracking
of weapon systems and related safety measures.
- Develop relationships with ministry level leadership to meet
the security needs identified within the region.
- Conduct hiring, training, directing, development and evaluation
Licensure / Certification /
- Indiana Drivers License (meeting Indiana Public Safety
Residency Requirements) with no more than 8
active points and obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
- One or more of the following required:
- Certification specializing in Peace Officer obtained prior to
hire date or job transfer date.
- Law Enforcement obtained prior to hire date or job transfer
- High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or
Associate's degree, or Bachelor's degree required.
- Bachelor's degree in law enforcement preferred.
- Completion of FBI National Academy training program or
- 3 years of law enforcement experience required.
- 2 years of leadership in law enforcement experience
- Shall be at least 21 years of age in order to attend the
required law enforcement training academy
