Job Description:
Job DescriptionAs an IT/Service Desk Technician, you will
provide technical software, hardware, internet connectivity, and
network problem resolution to end-users by performing
question/problem diagnosis, researching knowledge-base articles,
and guiding users through step-by-step solutions in a help desk
environment. You will support clients IT operations through managed
service, public and private cloud solutions, disaster recovery,
cyber security services, and more. This is an on-site position for
an IT managed services provider (MSP) headquartered in Carmel,
Indiana. This is a contract-to-hire position (90 days).Whats in it

advanced team. What you will do:
- Perform hardware configuration, imaging, and
troubleshooting
- Document ticket details and resolution
- Identify, diagnose, and resolve recurring support issues for
users of workstations, software, hardware, and connectivity
(network/Internet)
- Travel to client sites regularly within central Indiana and
surrounding counties
- Work with end-users onsite to resolve service desk tickets
- Interact with customers in response to inquiries, concerns, and
requests about products and services
- Gather customer/client information and determine the issue by
analyzing the symptoms
- Escalate tickets as needed while providing great customer
service
- Support Service Desk by answering inbound calls, creating
tickets, and managing ticket assignmentsAbout the Company:This is a

Consulting Automation Preferred Experience/Certifications:
- 1-2 years minimum of professional technical experience or
equivalent
- Proven diagnostic and troubleshooting skills with the ability
to identify the source of the problem
- Experience installing software and upgrading hardware
- Strong knowledge of Windows 10 and workstation hardware
including but not limited to workstation peripherals, Mac
experience a plusPreferred Behaviors:
