Job Description:

The Senior Analyst - SOX Compliance and Process Controls leads and supports the Company's SOX (Sarbanes Oxley) compliance program to help ensure financial reporting and related processes are understood, documented, and key controls are properly identified and tested. The Senior Analyst will collaborate with business partners across the organization to help identify control and process improvement opportunities.In one year as a Senior Analyst- SOX Compliance and Process Control, you will know if you were successful if you---

• Plan, implement, coordinate, and execute SOX program compliance activities.
• Assist in examining the Company's internal controls framework (COSO).
• Coordinate with the Risk Management team to ensure risks and control assessments are timely and accurately updated and help ensure the Company's risk profile is effectively communicated according to Company standards.
• Facilitate risk and control assessments to execute ERM framework and associated plans, including control design and operational effectiveness testing.
• Support the day-to-day administration of risk management activities, including tracking the completion of action plans, conducting walk-through meetings with the business unit process and control owners, remediation documentation reviews, and testing of controls.What we are looking for:
  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related field required with a minimum of 2 years experience in relevant enterprise risk management, auditing, or business process. Knowledge of business process controls, entity level controls, Auditing Standards, generally accepted accounting practices (GAAP), and operational risks.
  • In-depth knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley Act's regulations and requirements.
  • Experience in banking or a financial services industry background is preferred.
  • Ability to influence at all levels of the organization through strong verbal and written communication skills and maintain confidentiality required.
