Must-Have: - Previous charge experience - Interpretation and
management of dysrhythmias - Arterial line management - Starting
and maintaining IVs - Continuous IV sedation - Titration of cardiac
drips - Care of ventilated patients - Ventilator management
Description: We are seeking a highly skilled registered nurse for a
critical care unit. This is a high-acuity environment with a focus
on patient-centered care. The unit comprises 18 beds, staffed at a
ratio of two patients to one registered nurse unless in high acuity
situations, where the ratio is one to one. Common patient diagnoses
include respiratory failure, sepsis, congestive heart failure, and
surgical cases. The care team consists of interdisciplinary support
including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services,
pharmacy, and rapid response teams. Floating to progressive care
units is required as part of the role. Candidates should possess
experience with the management and interpretation of dysrhythmias
and advanced critical care practices. This is an excellent
